Community Voices

Community Voices is an active project that seeks to bring awareness to houselessness. In this first installment, we shine a light on the community in Santa Cruz California through video interviews and portraits as well as active outreach. Using these mediums we aim to bring understanding to the issue of houselessness and amplify the unique voices of those who are currently living on the streets or experiencing unstable living conditions. by combining awareness and access to resources we hope to uplift our community and lessen the divide between those who are houseless and those who are not. ​This set of portraits and interviews was captured from the sanctioned San Lorenzo camp in downtown Santa Cruz.
